Michelle Englot (Winnipeg, MB) won 8-6 over Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Scotties, held January 25 - 29, 2017 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Englot finished 5-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Englot defeated Lisa Menard (Dauphin, MB) 9-8, then won 11-4 against Meghan Armit (Winnipeg , MB) and 7-2 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB). Englot won 8-3 against Tiffany McLean (Portage la Prairie, MB), then won 6-5 against Robertson. Englot went on to lose 7-3 against Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB). Englot lost 8-4 to Cathy Overton-Clapham (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Manitoba Scotties Championship title, Englot earned 32.235 world rankings points. Englot move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 26.872 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 13th overall with 392.545 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Englot ranks 10th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 223.268 points earned so far this season.
