Sweeting responded with a 7-4 win over Kalynn Virtue (Lethbridge, AB). Sweeting won 8-6 against Nadine Chyz (Calgary, AB), then won 7-6 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
