Burns finished 7-3 in the 14-team qualifying round. . . Burns won 8-5 against Kaitlyn Jones (Regina, SK), then won 9-4 against Streifel and 6-2 against Kristin Clarke (Chester, NS). Burns won 6-4 against Lauren Lenentine (Cornwall, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.

Burns earned 12.978 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Canadian Junior Womens Championship. For week 24 of the event schedule, Burns did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
