Gushulak finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushulak defeated Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC) 7-6, then won 6-5 against Karla Thompson (Kamloops, BC). Gushulak went on to lose 8-4 against Mallett. Gushulak lost 7-5 to Sarah Wark (Chilliwack, BC) where Gushulak responded with a 6-4 win over Kesa Van Osch (Nanaimo, BC). Gushulak won 7-4 against Julie Herndier (Surrey, BC). Gushulak went on to lose 7-3 against Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the BC Scotties, Gushulak take home 9.075 world rankings points. Gushulak move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 8.119 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 38th overall with 157.352 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Gushulak ranks 34th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 91.854 points earned so far this season.
