Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) finished 4-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON) 7-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against Megan Balsdon (Mississauga, ON). Middaugh responded with a 5-3 win over Lauren Wasylkiw (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Middaugh won 8-6 against Chrissy Cadorin (Thornhill, ON), then won 7-6 against Julie Hastings (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties - Challenge Round, Middaugh take home 16.453 world rankings points, remaining in 18th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 10.049 after improving upon their best so far this season. Middaugh ranks 13th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 180.916 points earned so far this season.
