Emma Clendenan (Ajax, ON) lost 5-3 to Mackenzie Kiemele (Niagara Falls, ON) in the Final of the North Durham U18 Womens Invitational, held January 14 - 15, 2017 in Port Perry/Uxbridge, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Clendenan won 8-4 over Kenna Bartlett (Seaforth, ON) in the semifinals
 
Clendenan finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Clendenan defeated Hannah Don (Oshawa, ON) 8-5, then won 7-2 against Rachel Steele (Ajax, ON) and 4-3 against Kiemele. Clendenan won 6-3 against Emma McKenzie (Elmira, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
