Dayna Deruelle (Kingston, ON) finished 3-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Deruelle defeated Bryan Cochrane (Russell, ON) 7-6, then won 8-4 against Codey Maus (London, ON). Deruelle went on to lose 9-7 against Glenn Howard (Toronto, ON). Deruelle responded with a 7-2 win over Dave Collyer (Belleville, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Tankard - Provincial Qualifier A, Deruelle take home 14.503 world rankings points, remaining in 26th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 10.312 after improving upon their best so far this season.
