Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA) won 6-4 over Nina Roth (Blaine, USA) in the Final Sinclair advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the USA Women's National Curling Championship, held February 11 - 18, 2017 in Everett, Washington.
Sinclair finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sinclair defeated Becca Wood (Denver, CO) 12-1, then won 11-2 against Jessica Schultz (Saint Paul, MN) and 7-4 against Cora Farrell (Blaine, MN). Sinclair went on to lose 6-4 against Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA). Sinclair responded with a 5-3 win over Roth. Sinclair won 8-2 against Cassie Potter (St. Paul, MN), then won 9-3 against Cristin Clark (Seattle, WA) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the USA Women's National Curling Championship Championship title, Sinclair earned 23.940 world rankings points. Sinclair move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of 20.565 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 32nd overall with 190.909 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Sinclair ranks 27th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 133.963 points earned so far this season.
