Cassie Potter (St. Paul, MN) run at the 2017 USA Women's National Curling Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-1 loss to Nina Roth (Blaine, USA). of the 2017 USA Women's National Curling Championship in Everett, Washington;

Potter finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Potter defeated Jessica Schultz (Saint Paul, MN) 9-7, then won 10-0 against Becca Wood (Denver, CO) and 8-5 against Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA). Potter won 8-6 against Cristin Clark (Seattle, WA), then won 8-3 against Cora Farrell (Blaine, MN). Potter went on to lose 8-2 against Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA). Potter lost 8-4 to Roth in their final qualifying round match.
