Terry Ursel (Arden, MB) finished 1-2 in the 4-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ursel lost 7-5 to Tiffany McLean (Portage la Prairie, MB), then responded with a 10-9 win over Deb McCreanor (La Salle, MB). Ursel went on to lose 8-4 against Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
