Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) finished 2-9 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wang lost 9-3 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN), droppimg another game, 8-7 to Alina Paetz (Zurich, SUI). Wang lost 8-7 to Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) where Wang responded with a 7-6 win over EunJung Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Wang went on to lose 10-7 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Wang responded with a 7-5 win over Lene Nielsen (Hvidovre, DEN). Wang went on to lose 7-5 against Nina Roth (Blaine, USA). Wang lost 8-6 to Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Wang lost 8-4 to Diana Gaspari (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Wang lost 10-4 to Anna Hasselborg (Stockholm, SWE). Wang lost 6-4 to Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.

Wang earned 5.353 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 32 of the event schedule, Wang did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wang ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
