Menard won 8-3 against Adam Casey (Regina, SK), then won 7-6 against Glenn Howard (Toronto, ON) and 5-4 against John Morris (Vernon, BC). Menard won 8-5 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Menard went on to lose 7-3 against Brad Gushue (St. Johns, NL). Menard responded with a 8-6 win over Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT). Menard won 9-4 against Mike Kennedy (Fredericton, NB). Menard went on to lose 5-2 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Menard earned 20.889 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 30 of the event schedule, Menard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Menard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
