McEwen responded with a 8-3 win over Glenn Howard (Toronto, ON). McEwen won 5-2 against Jean-Michel Menard (Levis, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

McEwen earned 50.731 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Tim Hortons Brier.
