Morris won 4-3 against Jamie Murphy (Halifax, NS), then won 5-4 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, CAN). Morris went on to lose 5-4 against Jean-Michel Menard (Levis, QC). Morris responded with a 7-5 win over Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Morris won 9-1 against Jamie Koe (Yellowknife, NT). Morris went on to lose 5-4 against Brad Gushue (St. Johns, NL). Morris responded with a 5-2 win over Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). Morris won 7-6 against Adam Casey (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Morris earned 20.889 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 30 of the event schedule, Morris did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Morris ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
