Benj Guzman (Wayland, MA) won 6-5 over Michael Stefanik (Schenectady, NY) in the Final of the GNCC Club Championship, held December 8 - 11, 2016 in Schenectady, New York.
 
Guzman finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Guzman defeated Frederick Dubberley (Plainfield, NJ) 7-5, then won 10-5 against Mark Robinson (Pittsburgh, PA) and 8-7 against Martin Sather (Ardsley, NY). Guzman won 8-7 against Jeremy Hozjan (Charlotte, NC) in their final qualifying round match.
