John Epping (Toronto, ON) finished 8-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Mike Harris (Toronton, ON) 9-5, then won 9-1 against Cory Heggestad (Stroud, ON) and 9-7 against Wayne Tuck Jr. (Brantford, ON). Epping won 7-2 against Scott Bailey (Dundas, ON), then won 6-1 against Dayna Deruelle (Kingston, ON) and 9-8 against Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON). Epping went on to lose 11-6 against Codey Maus (London, ON). Epping responded with a 8-6 win over Glenn Howard (Toronto, ON). Epping won 4-2 against Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Epping earned 18.564 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Ontario Tankard. For week 25 of the event schedule, Epping did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Epping ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
