Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON) finished 3-4 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tippin defeated Jacqueline Harrison (Mississauga, ON) 8-6, then went on to lose 7-5 against Megan Balsdon (Mississauga, ON). Tippin lost 8-4 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) where Tippin responded with a 8-3 win over Allison Flaxey (Brampton, ON). Tippin went on to lose 7-6 against Heather Heggestad (Thornhill, ON). Tippin responded with a 11-8 win over Cathy Auld (Dundas, ON). Tippin went on to lose 7-0 against Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Tippin earned 2.329 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 25 of the event schedule, Tippin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 22nd place on the World Ranking Standings with 275.100 total points. Tippin ranks 18th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 156.473 points earned so far this season.
