Cora Farrell (Blaine, MN) run at the 2018 USA Women's National Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-3 loss to Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA). of the 2018 USA Women's National Championship in Fargo, North Dakota;

Farrell finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Farrell defeated Ann Podoll (Fargo, ND) 9-5, then won 8-6 against Beth Podoll (Fargo, ND). Farrell went on to lose 10-6 against Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA). Farrell lost 7-5 to Kim Rhyme (Blaine, MN) where Farrell responded with a 7-3 win over Christensen. Farrell won 6-3 against Christine McMakin (St. Paul, MN), then won 7-0 against Emily Anderson (Broomall, PA) in their final qualifying round match.

Farrell earned 11.386 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Women's National Championship, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 108th place overall with 43.949 total points. Farrell ranks 116th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.296 points earned so far this season.
