In their opening game, Christensen defeated Kim Rhyme (Blaine, MN) 8-3, then won 6-3 against Emily Anderson (Broomall, PA) and 10-6 against Christine McMakin (St. Paul, MN). Christensen won 8-4 against Ann Podoll (Fargo, ND). Christensen went on to lose 7-3 against Farrell. Christensen lost 8-5 to Sinclair where Christensen responded with a 7-2 win over Beth Podoll (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the USA Women's National Championship, Christensen take home 14.735 world rankings points. Christensen move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 13.611 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 30th overall with 232.809 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
