Sinclair won 8-3 against Christine McMakin (St. Paul, MN), then won 7-4 against Beth Podoll (Fargo, ND) and 8-5 against Christensen. Sinclair won 8-1 against Ann Podoll (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the USA Women's National Championship Championship title, Sinclair earned 18.753 world rankings points. Sinclair move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 4.954 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 16th overall with 403.911 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Sinclair ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 233.935 points earned so far this season.
