Kristen Streifel (Edmonton, AB) run at the 2017 AJCT Women's Players' Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-5 loss to Selena Sturmay (Airdrie, AB).
 
Streifel finished 2-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Streifel lost 6-5 to Sturmay, droppimg another game, 7-4 to Ashton Simard (Edmonton, AB) where Streifel responded with a 7-4 win over Kayla Skrlik (Falher, AB). Streifel won 6-4 against Ryleigh Bakker (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
