Wang won 7-6 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Hokkaido, JPN), then won 22-2 against Mubarkah Al-Abdulla (Doha, QAT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, Wang take home 17.556 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 26th place overall with 156.517 total points.
