Terry McNamee (Brandon, MB) won 7-4 over Jerry Chudley (Brandon, MB) in the Final of the Westman Super League, held October 5 - January 29, 2017 in Brandon, Manitoba. Advancing directly to the semifinals, McNamee won 7-0 over Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB) to advance to the championship game. of the 2016 Westman Super League in Brandon, Manitoba; of the 2016 Westman Super League in Brandon, Manitoba;

McNamee finished 9-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McNamee defeated Curtis McCannell (Pilot Mound , MB) 9-1, then won 5-3 against Chudley. McNamee went on to lose 3-2 against Steve Irwin (Brandon, MB). McNamee responded with a 9-0 win over Chase Dusessoy (Brandon, MB). McNamee won 7-3 against Butch Mouck (Minnedosa, MB), then won 6-5 against Tyler Waterhouse (Carberry, MB) and 7-3 against Duane Lang (Brandon, MB). McNamee won 8-4 against Shane McGranahan (Brandon, MB), then won 7-3 against Marnoch. McNamee went on to lose 5-3 against Kelly McMechan (Deloraine, MB). McNamee responded with a 8-3 win over Shawn Taylor (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Westman Super League Championship title, McNamee earned 12.160 world rankings points along with the $4,250CDN first prize cheque, moving up 59 spots the World Ranking Standings into 172nd place overall with 26.596 total points. McNamee ranks 180th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.160 points earned so far this season.
