In their opening game, Myran defeated Kristian Foss (Oslo, NOR) 6-3, then won 6-3 against Olav Kringebotn (Hedmarken, NOR) and 7-4 against Andris Bremanis (Riga, LAT). Myran won 6-5 against David Baird (Stirling, SCO), then won 7-5 against Switzerland's Somon Studer in their final qualifying round match.
