Johan Hostmaehlingen (Lillehammer, NOR) won 6-3 over Kjell Berg (Risenga, NOR) in the Final of the Norway Cup 3, held February 10 - 12, 2017 in Stange, Norway.

Hostmaehlingen finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hostmaehlingen defeated Berg 10-0, then won 9-2 against Trygve Fjerdingstad (Hedmarken, NOR) and 7-1 against Oystein Sorum (Oslo, NOR). Hostmaehlingen won 9-0 against Christian Birkeland (Sarpsborg, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.
