McConnery won 9-2 against Laurie Donaher (Moncton, NB), then won 7-3 against Melissa Adams (Fredericton, NB) and 8-7 against Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

McConnery earned 9.332 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 83rd place overall with 39.793 total points.
