Kauste finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kauste lost 7-6 to Jelena Rudzite (Riga, LAT), then responded with a 11-5 win over Estonia's Erika Tuvike. Kauste won 9-6 against Sandrine Morand (Megeve, FRA). Kauste went on to lose 7-6 against Hungary's Ildiko Szekeres. Kauste responded with a 8-2 win over Kristiine Lill (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.
