Roth finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roth defeated Emily Quello (Bemidji, MN) 9-0, then won 9-3 against Minnesota's Cassie Potter. Roth went on to lose 9-6 against Christensen. Roth responded with a 8-5 win over Cristin Clark (Seattle, WA) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Molson Cash Spiel Championship title, Roth earned 21.438 world rankings points along with the $2,974CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 30th place overall with 175.364 total points. Roth ranks 25th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 94.467 points earned so far this season.
