Graham Powell (Grande Prarie, AB) run at the 2017 Peace Tour Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 9-2 loss to Kurt Balderston (Grande Prairie, AB).

Powell finished 2-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Powell defeated Balderston 5-4, then won 5-4 against Colin Griffith (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Powell earned 4.187 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Peace Tour Championship, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 180th place overall with 24.017 total points. Powell ranks 128th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.733 points earned so far this season.
