Bill Duck (Ottawa, ON) qualified for the 2016 NAVY Fall Classic Open Bonspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Greg Balsdon (Kingston, ON).

Duck finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Duck defeated Philip Stang (Ottawa, ON) 10-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against Chadd Vandermade (Ottawa, ON). Duck responded with a 5-3 win over Eirik Mjoen (Oslo, NOR). Duck won 6-3 against Seb Soucy (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Duck earned 4.106 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the NAVY Fall Classic Open Bonspiel, moving up 267 spots the World Ranking Standings into 299th place overall with 4.106 total points. Duck ranks 102nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.106 points earned so far this season.
