Eskilsson won 6-1 against Alexey Stukalskiy (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Harbin International Men's Championship Championship title, Eskilsson earned 19.032 world rankings points along with the $10,319CDN first prize cheque, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 42nd place overall with 92.227 total points. Eskilsson ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.032 points earned so far this season.
