For winning the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard Tier 2 Championship title, van Dorp earned 33.968 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 22nd place overall with 145.674 total points. van Dorp ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 47.709 points earned so far this season.
