Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) qualified for the 2016 Stu Sells Oakville Tankard Tier 2 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 4-2 against Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED). of the 2016 Stu Sells Oakville Tankard Tier 2 in Oakville, Ontario;

Ferris finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferris defeated Connor Duhaime (Barrie, ON) 6-3, then went on to lose 6-5 against Michael Brunner (Gstaad, SUI). Ferris responded with a 6-2 win over Codey Maus (Toronto, ON). Ferris won 8-2 against Bruce Mouat (Stirlng, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
