To advance to the championship game, Harrison won 8-3 over Hollie Nicol (Ottawa, ON) in the semifinals of the 2016 Brantford Nissan Women's Classic in Brantford, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-5 over Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) in the quarterfinals.
 
Harrison finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harrison defeated Heather Heggestad (Thornhill, ON) 9-2, then won 7-2 against Chrissy Cadorin (Toronto, ON) and 7-1 against Brenda Holloway (Guelph, ON). Harrison won 5-4 against Mallory Kean (Kitchener, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Brantford Nissan Women's Classic Championship title, Harrison earned 24.578 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 19th place overall with 266.920 total points.
