To advance to the championship game, Bohn won 7-6 over Hayden Forrester (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2016 KKP Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-5 over Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2016 KKP Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
Bohn finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bohn defeated Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB) 1-0, then won 1-0 against Steen Sigurdson (Winnipeg, MB). Bohn went on to lose 4-3 against Kim. Bohn responded with a 7-2 win over William Kuran (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the KKP Classic, Bohn take home 15.593 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN prize, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 45th place overall with 93.404 total points. Bohn ranks 33rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 30.734 points earned so far this season.
