Heidi Hanlon (Saint John, NB) run at the 2016 WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-3 loss to Sylvie Robichaud (Moncton, NB). of the 2016 WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Saint John, New Brunswick; Hanlon advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-3 win over Shelly Graham (Fredericton, NB). of the 2016 WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Saint John, New Brunswick;

Hanlon finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hanlon defeated Rebecca Atkinson (Moncton, NB) 8-3, then won 6-5 against Veronica Smith (Charlottetown, PEI). Hanlon went on to lose 7-2 against Christie Gamble (Halifax, NS). Hanlon lost 7-5 to Graham in their final qualifying round match.

Hanlon earned 6.630 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the WFG Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, moving up 114 spots the World Ranking Standings into 188th place overall with 6.630 total points. Hanlon ranks 144th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.630 points earned so far this season.
