Jon Penney (Cincinnati, OH) lost 9-8 to Mark Robinson (Pittsburgh, PA) in the Final of the USA Men's Arena Nationals, held May 10 - 15, 2016 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Penney finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Penney defeated Brian Foree (Kansas CIty, MO) 13-1, then won 13-0 against Michael Sible (Des Moines, IA). Penney went on to lose 5-4 against Robert Guydosh (Austin, TX). Penney responded with a 10-2 win over Jason Neufeld (Greenville, SC) in their final qualifying round match.
