To advance to the championship game, Dow won 6-5 over Northern Ontario's Chris Glibota in the semifinals of the Glendale Cash Spiel in Hamilton, Ontario;

Dow finished 2-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dow defeated Darryl Prebble (Toronto, ON) 5-4, then won 7-6 against Northern Ontario's Chris Glibota in their final qualifying round match.
