Eve Belisle (Montreal, QC) qualified for the 2016 Curl Mesabi Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Nadine Chyz (Calgary, AB). of the 2016 Curl Mesabi Classic in Eveleth, Minnesota, United States;

Belisle finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Belisle defeated Norma O'Leary (Duluth, MN) 14-6, then won 6-3 against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK). Belisle went on to lose 7-3 against Cory Christensen (Blaine, USA). Belisle responded with a 9-0 win over Cristin Clark (Seattle, WA). Belisle won 7-1 against Melissa Runing (North Mankato, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Belisle earned 9.431 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curl Mesabi Classic.
