Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA) qualified for the 2016 Curl Mesabi Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-5 against Minnesota's Cassie Potter. of the 2016 Curl Mesabi Classic in Eveleth, Minnesota, United States;

Sinclair finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sinclair defeated Madison Bear (Blaine, MN) 10-3, then won 5-4 against Jessica Schultz (Saint Paul, MN). Sinclair went on to lose 6-5 against Minnesota's Cassie Potter. Sinclair lost 7-3 to Nadine Chyz (Calgary, AB) where Sinclair responded with a 6-2 win over Minnesota's Lysa Johnson in their final qualifying round match.

Sinclair earned 9.431 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curl Mesabi Classic, remaining in 34th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.458 after improving upon their best so far this season.
