To advance to the championship game, Flaxey won 7-4 over Julie Tippin (Woodstock, ON) in the semifinals of the 2017 CCT City of Perth Ladies International in Perth, Scotland; and won 6-5 over Tracy Fleury (Sudbury, NONT) in the quarterfinals. of the 2017 CCT City of Perth Ladies International in Perth, Scotland;
 
Flaxey finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Flaxey defeated Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO) 7-2, then won 7-6 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) and 8-7 against Karina Aitken (Stirling, SCO). Flaxey won 4-1 against Anna Fowler (Kent, ENG). Flaxey went on to lose 7-5 against Binia Feltscher (Flims, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the CCT City of Perth Ladies International Championship title, Flaxey earned 47.282 world rankings points along with the $7,295CDN first prize cheque. Flaxey move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 32.181 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 6th overall with 534.236 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
