Tippin lost 6-3 to Silvana Tirinzoni (Zurich, SUI) where Tippin responded with a 7-3 win over Sophie Jackson (Dumfries, SCO). Tippin won 8-1 against Mari Hansen (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.
