Lyle Sieg (Seattle, USA) run at the 2016 Cloverdale Cash Spiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 4-3 loss to Adam Cseke (Kelowna, BC). of the 2016 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia; Sieg advanced through the quarterfinals with a 5-2 win over Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC).

Sieg finished 2-2 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sieg defeated Randie Shen (Taipei, TPE) 10-1, then won 6-4 against Mike Siggins (Phoenix, USA). Sieg went on to lose 6-4 against Cseke. Sieg lost 5-1 to Will House (Vancouver, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Sieg earned 9.044 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Cloverdale Cash Spiel, moving up 191 spots the World Ranking Standings into 197th place overall with 10.081 total points. Sieg ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.044 points earned so far this season.
