Reed went on to lose 7-3 against Tiffany McLean (Winnipeg, MB). Reed responded with a 9-5 win over Katie Chappellaz (Brandon, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Scotties Spring Berth Bonspiel, Reed take home 8.663 world rankings points, moving up 34 spots the World Ranking Standings into 124th place overall with 22.366 total points.
