Peterson finished 2-0 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterson defeated Rachel Burtnyk (Winnipeg , MB) 8-5, then won 8-7 against Barb Spencer (Winnipeg , MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Scotties Spring Berth Bonspiel Championship title, Peterson earned 11.025 world rankings points, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 61st place overall with 76.240 total points. Peterson ranks 55th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 67.240 points earned so far this season.
