Guy Charette (Buckingham, QC) finished 5-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Charette lost 5-4 to Jeff Thomas (St. John's, NL), then responded with a 6-5 win over Bob Ursel (Kelowna, BC). Charette went on to lose 7-5 against Rod MacDonald (Charlottetown, PEI). Charette lost 8-3 to Alan O'Leary (Dartmouth, NS) where Charette responded with a 5-3 win over Ed Sattelberger (Iqaluit, NU). Charette won 7-5 against Grant Odishaw (Rothesay, NB), then won 9-3 against Walter Wallingham (Whitehorse, YK). Charette went on to lose 8-5 against Robbie Gordon (Sudbury, NONT). Charette responded with a 4-3 win over Glen Hudy (Yellowknife, NT) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Charette did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Charette ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
