Thomas went on to lose 7-3 against Bryan Cochrane (Russell, ON). Thomas lost 6-3 to Randy Neufeld (La Salle, MB). Thomas lost 6-4 to Brad Heidt (Kerrobert, SK). Thomas lost 6-3 to Ed Lukowich (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
