Grant lost 7-3 to Cathy King (Edmonton, AB) where Grant responded with a 10-2 win over Debbie Moss (Yellowknife, NT). Grant won 11-1 against Robin Manoll (Iqaluit, NU), then won 6-4 against Diane Foster (Kelowna, BC). Grant went on to lose 6-5 against Sandra Cowling (Hamiota, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
