Eskilsson lost 8-5 to K-G Pettersson (Linkoping, SWE) where Eskilsson responded with a 8-3 win over Fredrik Julius (Sundbyberg, SWE). Eskilsson won 7-3 against Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE), then won 8-2 against Wrana and 7-6 against Michael Roxin (Linkoping, SWE). Eskilsson won 6-1 against Tony Polder (Jonkoping, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Swedish Eliteserien Championship title, Eskilsson earned 9.188 world rankings points, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 47th place overall with 113.603 total points.
