Waterhouse responded with a 8-3 win over Roger Parker (Dauphin, MB). Waterhouse went on to lose 6-0 against McNamee in their final qualifying round match.

Waterhouse earned 1.067 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 28 spots the World Ranking Standings into 349th place overall with 2.962 total points. Waterhouse ranks 299th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.622 points earned so far this season.
